Strategic Comms is an advertising and marketing business that is led and directed by Lucy Malcolmson.
Lucy has been actively involved in advertising and communications in New Zealand since 2006, and has been specifically focused in FMCG and food for the past three years and with a wealth of knowledge in various other industries (see projects). Lucy has a degree in communications, followed by a succession of career defining positions working with some of NZ and Australia's most well known media companies including Stuff.co.nz, MediaWorks, The Clemenger Group, Channel NINE & Microsoft.
These various roles have enabled important skills and a rounded holistic approach to communications;
In addition, Lucy is a member of the Food and Grocery Council, the Marketing Association NZ, was an active member of the Internet Advertising Bureau for guidance on standards and guidelines for digital advertising nationally. Lucy most recently completed she Marketing Week's mini MBA programme where she was awarded 'A' levels for her graduate assignment.

- Strategic planning and development of a campaign
- Planning and negotiating media, from traditional advertising through to understanding digital advertising and the various buying and selling platforms
- Project management with clients, agencies, designers, creatives, filmmakers & producers
